On Monday, September 27, the Burlington City Council voted against a resolution that would have eliminated your freedom to choose your waste collection service provider.

The resolution proposed a collection system for food waste, recycling, and trash fully controlled by the Burlington Department of Public Works and City Hall.

We could not have beat this resolution without you! Our customers flooded the council people with phone calls, letters, and emails voicing support for our operations and concerns with the proposed system. Thank you for your support!

Our Work is not done yet.  The City Council is still exploring some form of Consolidated Waste Collection.  We will keep our customers updated as more information becomes available.
